Recommended Routine Tasks For Care And Maintenance Of Marble Floors

DAMP MOP
DAILY

• Clean cotton, rayon mop
• 2-4 oz. to gallon water/StoneClean
• Mop with wringer/bucket
• Rinse mop every 8 ft. by 8 ft. area
• StoneClean straight on stain areas with cotton towel

MACHINE BUFF
2X WEEKLY

• Clean area before buffing
• Low speed side by side buffer
• White or tan pad
• Stone Hardener 2x Polish

MACHINE SCRUB
DAILY/NIGHTLY

• Scrubber with white or red pad
• 4 oz. to gallon water/StoneClean
• Vacuum up solution

WALK-OFF MATS

VACUUM WALK-OFF MATS
DAILY

• Sweeper

HOSE OR EXTRACT MATS
ONCE A WEEK

• Hose

These tasks and frequencies represent normal condition. If the weather is extremely wet or snowy, the frequency of care may need to be increased.

If a mat is used, the mats should be replaced on a weekly basis. They should still be vacuumed daily. The mat service should leave an extra set of mats on hand for wet or snowy days when the mats may need to be replaced.
